After Vday

Well the results of Vday as promised.
Not a whole lot of fun. It started out ok. I had some fun and felt pretty good for most of the day. Then after I got back from hanging out with shackers (the 80s thing was canceled) I got back to my room to finish "celebrating". Needless to say I just sorta sat in my room and did nothing for about 3 hours. so yeah Vday was decent but certainly no where near good.

I have to say that I am appalled at the lack of empathy people have. I believe that on at least three occasions I was asked how I was enjoying Vday, and when I replied that it wasn't exactly my favorite time of year, they told me I should be glad I'm not in a relation ship because it is much cheaper and there is less emotional baggage. The best part is that all of these people are either dating someone or are married. Yeah I don't exactly care what you say about relationships when you're in one. I almost asked one of these people if it sucks so much to be in a relationship why don't we switch places. I'd take their girlfriend on a date and pay for it and everything, and they could do what I do: sit in their room, hoping against hope that someone will get on AIM so that they can at least talk to them. And then at the end of the night we'd meet up and give our impressions of the night. I think for some reason that people who look at me think that I hang out with people all the time or that I'm some sort of uber popular guy. I don't know why people think that but I wish it were true.

Well that sorta sums up my experiance w/ Vday. Oh and to conclude w/ this wonderful post I'll include my Valentines Day song. I love how upbeat it is.
