I was reading a magazine to day, and it was talking about the latest attempts at making personal civilian flying machines. I began to wonder, "why do we need flying cars? We already have enough accidents on clearly marked driving surfaces (roads) and at reletivlely low speeds (0-100mph I'm not sure of the kph). If we had flying cars people would be flying in the air (no lane markings) and at speeds over 150 mph (to stop the planes from stalling). With so much uproar currently about road saftey it is amazing that people would want to fly and increase the chance of crashes and death (the flight fuel is highly flammable leading to spectacular and deadly explosions). I guess the reason I think about these things is because I live in one of the most accident prone areas of the United States (Horry County had more accidents than any other county in the United States). This is partly because of the northern yankees coming down south to escape the winter snows and expeiriance the heat of summer as well as swiming in the ocean. All these tuorists have no idea where they are going and make sudden and stupid changes of direction leading to many crashes every day.
Well I guess that's enough with the whole driving thing for today.
PS: I am still working on having the pictures uploaded to my blog. I hope they will be up soon.

Actually, according to a South Carolina Highway Patrol study conducted from 2002 to 2005, the majority of accidents with a fatality (>66%) in Horry County occured between residents of Horry County. In fact, most of these accidents occured on back roads or secondary highways, which tourists don't travel.
Haha! See the bottom problem is the same as it is with guns.... In the hands of responsible idividuals they are a thing of awesomeness, in the hands of the average american... well... They are tools for eliminating them from the gene pool :P. Unfortunaely they most often take out a responsible person in the prosses.
Yep life is not for the faint of heart....or butt.

Hey DG
I have to take pride in what I can. Most of the accidents though occur b/c a yankee causes a SC driver to swerve into another SC driver. Oh well Who cares there are still alot of accidents in Horry county
PS I share your extreme dislike of South Carolina drivers.
