Medical Professionals?

Ok so I went home for thanksgiving and I had a glorious time eating turkey, visiting w/ some of my friends and family, and jumping into bushes (more on that some other time maybe). However, little did I know it but my family was giving me a little present. And I only thought you got presents on your birthday and christmas. Well I came back here with strep throat, a hideous disease that makes it feel as if thousands of insanly tiny midgets had crawled in my mouth while I slept and decided to do interpretive dances with ice skates on in the back of my throat (in other words my throat hurt really badly). Well I didn't know for sure if I had strep or not b/c I had not gone to see a doctor yet but I was pretty sure I had strep throat. So I decided to go to the free doctors they provide on campus to any students. Well I go through the ordeal at the doctors office (the swab being shoved down my throat so they can jab it against my throat that already hurts is not my idea of helpful or healing) and I discover that my hunch was correct. Well as I get my results back the nurse who had originally checked my throat seemed surprised that I had strep even though I was displaying many of the symptoms of the disease. This raises the questions of exactly how professional our doctors and nurses are b/c if I, a history major, can recognise strep throat better than a nurse, maybe there is more training needed for our nurses. Oh well so I am now doing drugs that will aid me in defeating this foul infirmity that is plauging my every step. Oh and I am also poping tylenol (little "R" in a circle) (sorry I don't know the key for the registertered trademark sign) like it is candy. In fact my tylenol (little "R" in a circle) has an "Easy to swallow Sweet coating" so it's sort of like candy. Except with this candy you can kill yourself so maybe it's not like candy.

Well that's about all that's going on right now. Oh only 8 (count 'em eight) days of classes left and four days of exams after that. Woo Hoo.
