Worn Out

For anyone considering a job at the local cinema I have three words: DON'T DO IT! It's not particularly hard or stressful, but for me (who hates having to interact with stupid people) its a big bother because of the length of time you have to be there. This is the second night in a row I have not returned home until after 12am. Not good for my sleep (or social life). But hey I'm making money (not much due to the level of pay afforded to slave laborers in the US). It's also nice because I have the chance to see a lot of movies for free as well as before they come out :-D.

Other than that, school is just getting crazy (as it is wont to do during the final month). I have one paper due each week, both on topics I don't care about, in a style I'm no good at, and for classes that I hate. So as you can guess I don't have too much incentive to do any of the papers.

Beyond the day to day stuff life throws at me I'm just getting sick of always having nothing to do. No I'm kept pretty busy with school but sometimes you just want to get away and do nothing ordered and away from your typical locals. Unfortunately because I am unwilling to lay out the money for a car or all the other costs that come with one, I am stuck on this campus 7 days a week (except for when I go to work which isn't much fun). The other day my mom visited and took me out to dinner. When asked where I wanted to go I said I didn't care as long as it was far away from campus. Being unable to see downtown columbia was a sight that almost brought tears to my eyes :'-). If and when I get a car, I will begin taking monthly trips...somewhere. I probably won't even figure out where until I've left. It will be nice to just get off this annoying campus.

Alright well I gotta get to bed.
